Today our fifth graders had a special visit from Alachua Interim City Manager Mr. Valladares and his amazing team! Students got an inside look at how our local government operates and learned about the important roles that keep our city running smoothly.
The team even brought along some city equipment to demonstrate how it’s used — and we ended the day with an unforgettable surprise: Mr. Paul took a ride in the bucket lift! 🚒🙌

Ms. Seavers’ third graders joined Ms. Shaw in the library for a collaborative lesson on determining and explaining the theme of a story. We love seeing our students think deeply and work together! 📚💡
🌕✨ Ms. Shaw’s 4th and 5th grade students explored the phases of the moon in a fun (and delicious!) way — using Oreo cookies! Hands-on learning makes science both memorable and tasty! 🍪🌓🌖
