This past Friday, Alachua Elementary families and friends rolled into Skate Station Spirit Night for an evening of skating, laughter, and school spirit. 💚 Thank you to everyone who came out to support our school!
Students learned about food and farming, spent time having fun with friends, and enjoyed a delicious, nutritious lunch. 🥦🍓
Thanks to Food and Nutrition Services’ Farm to School program, our students explored the connection between farming, food, and good health in a fun, educational, and interactive way. 💚
We are so grateful for this opportunity to learn, grow, and eat healthy together! 🌽✨

Our Gators showed up today full of school spirit, smiles, and pride. We love seeing our students and staff come together to celebrate being part of the Alachua Gator family! Check out today’s Spirit Day pictures below.
3rd Grade: Students reviewed ROYGBIV, practiced patterns, and explored showing space in their artwork by overlapping while creating beautiful rainbow masterpieces.
4th & 5th Grade: Students began their Artist Portfolios with a review of warm and cool colors. These portfolios will serve as their sketchbooks all year, supporting practice with the Elements of Art.
We are excited to see their artistic growth throughout the year!
Thank you to the team from UF Health that provided Stop the Bleed training for principals today. As with our recent training on reunifying families after a school crisis, today's session is another example of the district's commitment to the safety and well-being of students, families and staff.
