Avinoor Jutla, an eighth-grade student at Lincoln Middle School, has been awarded the Overall Middle School National Championship at the Florida National Civics and Debate Championship, held at the Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, Florida.
The prestigious competition brought together top middle school students from across the nation to demonstrate excellence in civics knowledge, public speaking, and debate skills. Avinoor’s outstanding performance earned him the highest overall honor in the middle school division, distinguishing him among a highly competitive field of participants.
Avinoor is coached by Mr. Marna Weston, whose leadership and dedication continue to produce exceptional results. With this achievement, Mr. Weston has now coached his second national champion in the past three years, underscoring the strength of Lincoln Middle School’s civics and debate program.
“This accomplishment reflects Avinoor’s hard work, discipline, and passion for civic engagement,” said Mr. Weston. “It’s incredibly rewarding to see students grow into confident thinkers and speakers on a national stage.”
