Lincoln Middle School is currently in a secure due to the use of pepper spray by the School Resource Officer in a hallway during an altercation between two students between classes. Unfortunately other students were also affected by the pepper spray. The school nurse and the Alachua County Fire Department are treating the students, and we are taking steps to clear any remaining effects from the hallway. The school will return to normal operations as soon as we have the all clear, and will provide you with an update at that time.
