If you are interested in joining our Academy of Criminal Justice Magnet Program, mark you calendars to participate in “Shadow Day" on the NHS campus. This is a fantastic opportunity to take a peek into a day at Newberry High School and our Program on the following dates and times:

8:30 am - 11:30 am for 8th grade students NOT ATTENDING Oak View Middle School
Friday, December 5, 2025
8:30 am - 11:30 am for 8th grade students ATTENDING Oak View Middle School
NOTE: Your assigned Shadow Day is based on your CURRENT school enrollment and we CAN NOT accommodate requests for alternate dates.
NOTE: Each Shadow Day is strictly limited to participation of 25 students and requests are considered in the order they are received. If your submission is received after that number is reached, your child will be placed onto our waiting list.
