The Transportation Department at Alachua County Public Schools is hosting a hiring event for school bus drivers on Tuesday (November 18th) and Wednesday (November 19th) at the ACPS District Office (620 E University Avenue, Gainesville FL) from 8:00 am until 1:00 pm each day.
The pay scale is based on experience ($18.27 to $25.79 per hour). No experience necessary, but you must hold a valid US driver's license with a safe driving record. ACPS will pay you to train for your CDL class B licensing with passenger and school bus endorsements. Hiring full and part time drivers for daily routes and field trips, 180 work days with 6 paid holidays.
