NHS Juniors will have the opportunity to take the ACT this week. Students are encouraged to visit www.actstudent.org for more information about the ACT test, test taking strategies, as well as important information about what to expect on test day. We will be offering the Science portion of the exam. There is NO COST to students who take this ACT School Day (a $72 savings)!

A few important notes to remember:

â–ŞBring your school or other photo ID.

â–ŞBring an approved calculator. (www.act.org/calculator-policy.html)

â–ŞBring your fully charged laptop.

â–ŞYou may not have any electronic device, other than an approved calculator (phones and smart watches are not permitted).

â–ŞStudents may only receive accommodations that have been applied for through ACT and have been approved.

📆 Students taking the ACT School Day (with no accommodations) will test on Wednesday (March 25th). Students with approved ACT accommodations (i.e. extended time, read aloud) will test between Monday (March 23rd) and Friday (April 3rd). Please be on the look out for an email with specific test date and location.

⏰ It is important to be on time! Students will not be able to enter a test room once testing has begun, and make-ups will not be scheduled.

📵As with all state and national testing, students may not have in their possession cell phones, smart watches, fitness bands, media players, or any other electronic devices at any time (including during breaks). All devices must be powered off and stored away from the testing area.
