Our young scientists hard at work in our Biotechnology program. putting great minds together with hsnds on experiences.
Biotechnology is just one of our magnet programs. We started in 2007 and doubled our enrollment over the last 4 years. Over 435 certifications earned over a three year span. We have had a number of students complete internships. We started our own HOSA club. Explore science with your hands and mind. Led by Mr. Tyler Wells, students gain a level of science experience like no other.
Girls Basketball try-outs on October 28th 4:30pm - 6pm. Must have all forms completed by 10/26.
Homecoming Week is October 19th through the 23rd. Our game is on Friday against Belleview at 7:30pm. We will be celebrating our alumni as well. Monday is Disney Day. Tuesday is Duo Day--Find and buddy and match. Wednesday is Favorite movie,. Thursday is plot twist--dress like the opposite of your style. Friday--Raider Spirit.

HOME SPORTS:
Tues (10-6): Volleyball hosts The Rock at 6pm and 7pm.
Wed (10-7): JV football hosts JV Buchholz at 6:30pm.
Thurs (10-8): Volleyball hosts St. Francis at 5:30pm and 6:30pm. It will
be our "Senior Night".
Today' s fall baseball game has been cancelled and all the baseball
players please report to Coach Brooks' Classroom after school for a
baseball meeting until 4:30. Building 34-225."
"Tryouts for the Boys Soccer Program will be Monday 10/12 through
Wednesday 10/14 from 5:30 to 7:00. To be eligible to participate, you
will need to have completed your requirements on Home Campus.
Students participating in Fall Sports (Cross Country, Golf, Swimming,
or Football) must request a contingency tryout in writing prior to
Thursday, October 8th if they are not available on the scheduled days.
These can be turned into the front office to be placed in the box for
Boys Soccer."
Lady Raider Soccer tryouts are 10/12-10/13 6:30-8:00 p.m. Legacy
Field. Required forms need to be submitted by 10/8 Please bring
cleats, tennis shoes and water.
Basketball cheer tryouts will be this week on Wednesday and
Thursday 3:30-5:30 this week.
PBIS is running our first quarter's "Bring Up Those
Grades!" coupon contest. Come see us outside during lunch to sign
up to receive a golden Raider Buck coupon when you bring up or
maintain your grades!
Black Student union members we will meet October 13th after school
from 3:30-4:30pm in Ms. Zaydman's, room 34-224
Students please do not take any food or drinks out of the cafeteria
area.
DECALS: Every student that drives on campus will need a parking
decal and You may only park in the lot with the correct color decal.
Parking decals will be only be sold in the Dean's office before school
and after school.
Decals are $65.00
Parking Registration forms are available in the Dean's Office

Fortify FL: FortifyFL is a suspicious activity reporting tool that allows
anyone to instantly relay information to appropriate law enforcement
agencies and school officials. A link to FortifyFL is located on all
school computers, including your school issued laptops.
Cell Phone Policy Update: Cell phones, Headphones, and AirPods can
not be used during class periods throughout the day. They should be
put away and out of sight. This is a State and District rule. These
devices are ok to use before school, lunch, and after school.

Our Environmental and SWAT clubs helped with a community clean up at Legacy Park this past Saturday where they collected 12 pounds of trash. We are so proud of our SFHS students and them taking pride in our community.
