New Worlds Reading Initiative is a statewide program that supports eligible VPK–5 students who are not yet reading on grade level. In partnership with Alachua County Public Schools, the initiative provides free, high-quality reading resources delivered directly to families to strengthen foundational literacy skills and promote reading at home. New Worlds Reading complements classroom instruction and supports ACPS’s commitment to ensuring all students become confident, proficient readers.
