Our middle school engineering students wrapped up the 3rd nine weeks with an out‑of‑this‑world launch, and they did it using nothing more than everyday school supplies like cardstock and tape. Under the guidance of Mr. Murray, students explored design, precision, and problem‑solving as they sent their handmade rockets soaring skyward. Their hard work and curiosity continue to lift learning to new heights, and we’re grateful for Mr. Murray’s dedication to helping them reach for the stars.
A big congratulations goes to Robert A., whose rocket traveled the farthest distance in the first launch of the day. A special shout‑out also goes to Savannah S., whose final‑round rocket flew the farthest overall, coming within just a few feet of a full football field. Both students showed impressive creativity, perseverance, and engineering know‑how.
