We're looking forward to welcoming back all of our families tomorrow, August 10th! Students can begin arriving at 7:30, classes begin at 8:00, elementary dismissal is at 2:07 and middle is at 2:14. For the safety of our students and staff, parents and guardians of Kindergarten students only will be able to walk their child to class. KG parents must check in at the front office first, present a government issued ID, and receive a visitor badge. Please be aware that this is a “drop and go” procedure. All other families will need to be prepared to drop off students at the gates or in our car lines (K-3 out front and 4-8 in the back). Beginning Tuesday, August 11th,we will return to being a closed campus during morning drop-off. Thank you for your understanding!

Important Middle School Electives Update: We are no longer able to offer Computer/Technology but we're excited to announce that we have added Art and Spanish to our elective offerings!
To build student schedules, we will use the elective selection forms that students completed at the end of the 2025–2026 school year. If your student would like to request a change to their elective preferences based on these updates, please submit the request in writing by July 31st, 2026 to Jennifer Spencer, Assistant Principal of Curriculum, at spencejl@alachuaschools.net. While we will make every effort to accommodate requests, schedule changes will be based on course availability and staffing.
