We have only two weeks until Spring Break, so let’s finish strong and make sure our Eagles are SOARing high—Safe, Optimistic, Achieving, and Respectful.
Please join us for our upcoming SAC meeting on Tuesday, March 4th at 4:00 PM. An email was sent to all families and includes a virtual link, so we’re hoping this option makes it easier for more families to attend and participate. I hope to see you there!
And to our 5th grade parents, thank you for joining us Tuesday for our parent meeting. Your support and participation are truly priceless. Please be on the lookout for an email coming soon with details about all the exciting end-of-year activities planned for our 5th grade students.
Also, a big shout-out to our 3rd grade students who participated in the Morningside Nature Center field trip, sponsored by Friends of Nature Parks. We received a wonderful message from them that said:
“The Idylwild students were incredible! They asked great questions, took lots of notes, shared poems, and stayed engaged during the two-hour program. Both days were wonderful. We ALL enjoyed being with them.”
Great job, 3rd grade Eagles! Have a safe and restful weekend.

Join us this Thursday, December 4th, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. in the Idylwild café for our Galactic Book Adventure Literacy Night!
We’ll have hands-on literacy stations, glowing galactic fun, and a holiday musical performance from our amazing Kindergarten through 5th grade students. It’s all hosted by our Title I team, and it’s a perfect night to learn, laugh, and celebrate together.
Bring the whole family and blast off with us—
You definitely don’t want to miss this holiday adventure!
Can’t wait to see you there!
If you have prepaid for a Thanksgiving Feast meal, we look forward to seeing you tomorrow! We’ve had a wonderful response from families, which means we will be hosting a large crowd for lunch. Prepayment is required - no payments will be accepted tomorrow.
Because of this, it’s important to allow adequate time to be scanned in as a visitor when you arrive on campus. All guests must present a valid ID and be checked into the Raptor system before entering the cafeteria.
To help everything move quickly, we strongly encourage you to stop by the front office ahead of time to complete your pre-scan before your scheduled lunchtime tomorrow. Guests who complete this early check-in will have their visitor tags preprinted and ready for quick pickup upon arrival.
Also, all Lost and Found items will be displayed on the stage. Please take a moment to check for any missing items your child may have. Any unclaimed items will be donated after the Thanksgiving break.
We can’t wait to celebrate together!
