This past semester we challenged the students on coming to school. Each week we looked at the numbers and gave updates. It has been a close competition!!
And our winner for 1st Semester with 92.64% for average attendance is 7th Grade!!! A job well done!! They have won a Sonic Slushy party.
It was so close with 6th grade in 2nd place with 92.62%. They needed just 4 fewer absences to win. 8th grade finished in 3rd with 92.30%.
Attendance to school is so important. Missing just a few days here and there can add up. Regular punctual attendance helps children build learning stamina, develop positive relationships, and establish themselves as reliable and engaged members of the school community. It will help them in middle school, high school, college, and eventually in their professional careers.
