Get ready to celebrate the final days of school with our ABC Countdown! Each day will feature a fun dress-up theme as we count down to the last day. We encourage all students to join in the excitement by participating as much as they can.

Please check the calendar below for each day’s theme and help your child come prepared to join the fun. Participation is optional, but we hope everyone will take part in making these last days of school extra memorable!

🎉 Congratulations to Our Outstanding Safety Patrol Adelynn Fletcher!

We are proud to recognize her for earning the Eddie May Scholarship, awarded by the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office in partnership with Educational Tours. This prestigious, fully funded opportunity will allow her to travel to Washington, D.C. with fellow School Safety Patrol members.

This honor reflects her dedication, leadership, and commitment to serving and protecting our school community each day. We are so proud of the example she sets for her peers!

Our school has been buzzing with excitement during this week’s Book Fair! With a fun carnival theme, students have been enjoying a festive atmosphere filled with colorful decorations and, of course, lots of great books.

From exploring new stories to discovering favorite authors, everyone has had a chance to join in the fun. The carnival spirit has made reading even more exciting, reminding us all that books can take us on amazing adventures.

Don’t forget—Family Night is Thursday, 4/16/26 from 5:30–7:00 PM. We invite all families to come join the fun and experience the Book Fair together!

Friday, 4/17/26, will be the final day of the Book Fair, and it will close at the end of the school day.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this week such a success. We love seeing our students excited about reading!

We invite our school community to participate in the Thank a Teacher initiative. Each month, nominations are collected to recognize a teacher who goes above and beyond . One selected teacher will receive a $250 award as a token of appreciation for their commitment to education.

We are proud to recognize our February Citizen of the Month, Mia Brown-Campbell.

This award is given to a student who demonstrates outstanding character and consistently shows kindness, responsibility, and respect to others in our school community. Mia has been a wonderful example of what it means to be a positive role model by helping classmates, showing respect to teachers and staff, and contributing to a welcoming school environment.

We are very proud of Mia and grateful for the positive impact they make at our school. Congratulations on being named our February Citizen of the Month!

Last week, our school held a swearing-in ceremony to welcome additional fifth-grade students into the Safety Patrol Program. These students have demonstrated responsibility and leadership, and we are proud to recognize them as our newest Safety Patrol members. Congratulations to all who were sworn in.
