Our 4th grade students did an incredible job bringing history to life through their Women’s History projects! 💜✨
We loved seeing the meaningful connections many students made while researching inspiring women in their own families. Two stories that truly stood out:
💫 One student honored her grandmother, a hero who was working in the Twin Towers during 9/11. She bravely helped others escape to safety, and her actions were later shared with the family by survivors.
🌍 Another student highlighted her grandmother, an accomplished anthropologist who has traveled the world for research, taught at the collegiate level, and is among the few Black anthropologists in her field.
We are so proud of our students for sharing such powerful, personal stories and celebrating the strength, courage, and impact of women everywhere! 💕👏

While Deputy Taylor was away at training, we were excited to welcome Deputy Ben and his K9 partner Deputy Barr to campus today! 🐾🚓
Our patrols had a great learning experience as Deputy Ben shared how his patrol vehicle is specially equipped to keep his K9 safe and cool during the hot months. From temperature monitoring to built-in safety features, our students got a firsthand look at how officers take care of their four-legged partners.

We’re celebrating some amazing readers who earned certificates for their hard work in Reading Park!
🌟 K–2 Lesson Leaders – These students completed the highest number of lessons in one week! Their dedication to practicing reading skills is helping them grow stronger every day.
🚀 3–5 Combo Champions – These readers earned the highest number of combos, which means completing two comprehension lessons in a row with 80% or higher. Talk about focus and determination!
We are so proud of our Twisters for putting in the effort and showing that practice makes progress. Keep up the great reading! 📖💚
