Buchholz High School was honored at UF Dance Marathon (March 28–29), receiving one of only two awards recognizing outstanding high school programs! 💛
Our students earned the Outstanding Program Growth Award thanks to their passion, leadership, and incredible impact on our school community.

Taylor had an incredible week, leading the Bobcats to dominant victories:
✅ 27-0 over Lake Weir
✅ 40-13 over Santa Fe

She racked up an amazing 540 receiving yards and 8 touchdowns, while also making an impact on defense with 3 interceptions!

On behalf of the Greater Gainesville Chamber’s Foundation, we are excited to invite your school and graduating seniors to participate in 2026 Florida College Decision Day, a community-wide celebration honoring students as they take the next step in their post-secondary journeys.
Florida College Decision Day recognizes graduating seniors who have committed to attend a four-year college, state college, technical or trade school, or the military. This celebratory event provides students with public recognition for their hard work, perseverance, and future plans, while reinforcing a culture of aspiration and achievement across our schools and community.

✨ Mental Health Tip of the Month for Parents: Ways to support Conflict Resolution ✨
Managing conflict can affect the body—causing increased heart rate, shallow breathing, muscle tension, sweating, and digestive issues. When conflict goes unresolved, it can contribute to anxiety and lowered immunity over time.
Conflict resolution is an important life skill for our kids. As we guide them toward becoming responsible adults, we must remind them that conflict is normal. Disagreements are part of healthy human relationships. It’s not the conflict itself that causes the most harm—it’s how we handle it. Arguments and fights, verbal or physical, often grow out of not knowing how to move through conflict in a healthy way.
Some teenage relationships may not last, but even short ones shape how our children grow. If kids think they must agree in order to resolve conflict, they may avoid situations where agreement feels unlikely. But resolution does not mean agreement. If we wait until we “feel like” agreeing, we leave conflicts open.
Let’s encourage our children to see conflict resolution as moving forward in a way that harms no one and protects their character and reputation—even when they disagree.
Tips for Guardians

Graduation rates for the seven ACPS high schools rose in 2025, from 92.7% to 93.9%. All seven schools posted rates above 90%.
