We recently met with Jenna Horner, a Buchholz High School graduate, to discuss bringing her Mindful Messages school mural project to our campus. This will be Ms. Horner’s fifth Mindful Messages mural, and she is excited about the opportunity to make Buchholz part of this meaningful project.
As with any mural project, supplies such as paint, brushes, and other materials are needed. This is where our entire Buchholz community can make a difference! We are asking everyone to help support Mindful Messages by voting for it in the Radiant Credit Union Charity of the Month competition.

REMINDER: Road to the Future presentation tonight before Open House, starting at 6:00pm in the Buchholz Auditorium!
During this informative session, our school counselors will share valuable information about:
• College planning
• Scholarships and financial aid
• Career pathways and post-secondary opportunities
• Resources to help students plan for their future
Whether your student is considering college, career training, the workforce, or another pathway after graduation, this presentation will provide helpful information and resources to support their journey.
We hope you will join us for this important evening as we help our students take the next steps on the road to their future!

Ms. Peterson is an incredible part of our ESE department! Whether she’s rocking it as an English co-teacher or supporting students as they build their learning strategies and English skills, she brings patience, positivity, and a genuine commitment to helping students succeed.
Ms. Peterson is always willing to learn something new, jumps in wherever she is needed, loves coming to work, and is truly a team player. We are so lucky to have her on our Bobcat team!

Mrs. Cherena teaches World History and is the kind of teacher who makes a lasting impact on her students. She is always willing to lend a helping hand, whether that means providing additional tutoring, offering encouragement, or simply being there when her students need her.
Her calm and caring presence, kind heart, and ever-present smile make her classroom a welcoming place for students to learn and grow. She consistently goes above and beyond to support her students and is a wonderful example of what it means to have Bobcat Pride.

A day of fun will start at 1pm on September 12th with cosmetic demonstrations and the chance to schedule a personal appointment for homecoming night. There will also be a photo station, music, men's suit fitting services and more! Plus, students who purchase a Junior's Social Occasion dress of $79.00 or more will receive a FREE phone suction mount and set of hair clips!"

Bobcats, thank you for helping us create a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment for everyone at our athletic events!
For all SBAC athletic events, spectators are welcome to bring ONE of the following:
• Clear Tote — Plastic, vinyl, or PVC; no larger than 12" × 6" × 12"
• Clear Plastic Zip-Top Bag — No larger than 1 gallon, resealable, and clear
• Medical Items — Items necessary due to a medical condition
For everyone’s safety, all individuals and permitted bags/medical items may be subject to a search.
As part of our entry procedures, spectators will also be asked to walk through a screening/wanding process upon entry.
STUDENT SECTION EXPECTATIONS
Our student section is a place to show your Bobcat Pride and support our team! Students are expected to:
• Demonstrate respectful and appropriate behavior at all times
• Follow the directions of staff and event personnel
• Remain in the designated student section
• Stay off the fence and do not stand along or hang over the fence
• Cheer positively and respectfully for our team and opponents
• Help keep the student section safe and welcoming for everyone
Students who do not follow these expectations may be asked to leave the student section or the event.
To help make entry as smooth as possible, please leave prohibited bags and items at home or return them to your vehicle before entering the venue.
