We don’t use the "Reason" field—please enter details in the comments.
Parents can upload a note directly in Skyward to support the request!
📅 How to Submit an Absence:
1️⃣ Log in to Skyward
2️⃣ Go to Attendance
3️⃣ Select Absence Requests
4️⃣ Enter dates + details
5️⃣ Upload supporting notes (if needed)
6️⃣ Submit ✅
⚠️ Reminder: An "Accepted" status does not always mean the absence is excused.

ACPS now requires Level II clearance (fingerprinting + background screening) for volunteers who are not always supervised by staff—such as mentors, coaches, drivers, and field trip chaperones.
✅ Clearance lasts 5 years
💲 Fee: $82 (efforts are being made to lower cost)
