Garden Update!
Our preschoolers have been very busy working in the garden. As soon as the sunflower sprouts began to come up, the squirrels started nibbling on them. Now the students have a new challenge; keeping the squirrels away! When they’re not busy watering, you can find our preschoolers enjoying the ambiance of the garden with a good book.

🔥🦅 Congratulations to Macie, this week’s mini-mascot drawing winner! Meet her new buddy, Fireblaze!
Macie earned her entry by cheering on and encouraging her classmates during a STEAM activity. At Irby, we love seeing our Eagles learn from one another, teach each other, and celebrate each other’s successes!
Way to lift others up, Macie! ❤️💙

Yesterday some preschoolers planted the seeds to grow food for our school lunches! First they had to pick all the peas left over from summer and then mulch the beds. Next the planted carrots, kale, lettuce, broccoli and lots of flowers! When they needed a break they grabbed a book and relaxed in the shade. We can’t wait to enjoy the veggies from our school garden!
