The Metcalfe Wildcats acknowledged living a drug free life during Red Ribbon Week last week (October 24th through the 31st)! Starting off with an incredibly energetic pep rally organized by our amazing BRT, Ms. Allen, and finishing with a spirit week including Team Jersey Day, Puzzle Color Day, Pajama Day, Crazy Socks Day, and Twin Day, the students showed their commitment to living a drug free life! October's 4th grade STEAM projects, which continued our 4th grade focus on Engineering, involved building structures involving candy. The students focused on the stability, structure, and visual appeal (as well as tastiness!). Check out the creativity of some of our 4th grade scholars!

Each day we will focus on the powerful reminder that each choice we make is like fitting one piece of a puzzle into the bigger picture of a healthy, drug-free life. We will kick off with Unity Day TOMORROW, Wednesday, October 22, 2025. Everyone is asked to wear ORANGE to show our commitment to being unified for a drug-free life!
